Hi
USCIS mails are NOT forwarded.
When you update the USCIS about address change.You will get confirmation ( may take 30days ) that the address is changed to ur new address.
If the EAD is approved before confirmation the EAD will go to the old address and returned to USCIS.Then Again you need to ask them to resend.
Now a days Iam seeing may people loosing EAds in mail.Even I lost the EAd in the mail because of address change and it never reached new/old/USCIS. I had to apply for replacement card. ( I don't want to scare You).
May be you go to local USCIS office and check what address they have on file.

I always have to switch between forward and a left or right perspective in order to do that. Even then it's hard to get it just right.
(but isn't it so much easier than version 1.0 where you had to create invisible mirror objects in order to pivot off center? :) )

I don't think that would work. Here are a couple of articles that seem to suggest that you cannot create your company on H-1B (http://www.laborimmigration.com/2008/01/starting-own-company-on-h-1b-visa/) and also that you cannot volunteer to do a job which would otherwise by a paying job (http://www.laborimmigration.com/2008/02/unpaid-volunteer-work-on-h-1b-h-4-or-f-1-visas/)

You would require copy of the approval notice of 140 from the old company.
In the new company, you would need to file a new labor via PERM. Once it is approved, you would need to file a new 140 and use the copy of the old approved 140 to port your priority date.

a. Hospital birth records which name the child and both parents.
b. Medical records which name the child and both parents.
c. School records which name the child and both parents.
d. Census records which name the child and both parents.

Religious records in the form of a certificate under the seal of the organization where the baptism, dedication, presentation or comparable rite occurred following the birth, showing the date and place of the child�s birth, the date of the religious ceremony, and the names of the child�s parents.
I have submitted Date of Birth Certificate at the time of applying 485 which is dated in 2002.

The light never really got good this morning. There were too many clouds, and I couldn't get the light and shadow I wanted. Here's what I came up with. Let me know what I could have done to improve them. Thanks!

TSC online system seems to be still down - I tried adding a new receipt number and its not accepting, I talked to my lawyer and she mentioned that she heard same from a bunch of her other clients. Since my EAD is still valid for another couple months, I didnt try to go for InfoPass yet.
These days people are getting RFE's left and right and TSC's online system is down just in time :( In many cases it may not be a big deal (to answer the query in time) but having online system updates was useful to prepare for any such thing. Now we have to wait for the letter.

Making Legals also Illegals.
For the past 10 to 13 years people are waiting on the EB category Queue, and they are all tax payers as same as US Citizen.
some of them are in H1B status, in this economy it is not necessary that they should always have a job, so if the congress
is not acting on the Immigration bill as soon as possible, they are making the Legals also Illegals pretty soon, with the
USCIS nasty memo for the Employer-Employee relationship, getting an H1 extension became another Oil spill in the Gulf Coast!
This is not a joke, and politicians care little about this, because they cannot manipulate anything here, This is the year and time
to pass immigration bill. If not then immigration issue may not see light.
What about great Indian origin media tycoons Sanjay Gupta & Fareed Sakaria, why cant they make a issue on the media about this.
All Indian origins except some bunch of people, are waste and just eat, drink & be merry caes, and they don't care for anything.
Keeping the finger cross and waiting for the immigration bill introduced in congress as soon as possible at least before May 31st 2010. Even the home country of some of us here, India, with a puppet government and corrupted politicans can do nothing about this. :mad::o:eek:

Both of those lenses aren't the fastest, so you're going to want a sensitivity of 1600 to get acceptable shutter speeds to minimize motion blur. If the light is changing a lot, you could use aperture priority, leaving the aperture at the widest it will go (or stopped down however much you can while maintaining reasonable shutter speed).
If the light is relatively constant (and when has that happened at a concert?), you might get more consistent results from determining the correct exposure by test shots and histogram, and then leaving things set until the light changes.
If you want help with autofocus, I'm afraid that I can't help, as my Nikon is a bit older than yours (D1). :(

I am in the US now. Can I change to F1 visa in August and get the new F1 stamping or the approved transfer as you said, when I visit my home country later some ?

My understanding is that F1 visa status is maintained by I-20 and corresponding I-94 (which would usually say D/S and therefore would be valid as long as your I-20 and student-in-good-standing status are valid), for which you need to go outside US and reenter.

My PD June 2007, RD Oct 2007. No REFEs. EB1 India.
Thanks for all the help and good counsel.
Lesson from this experience: Learn to handle delays. Take things in your stride. Do not make GC as end of your life. We can work anywhere and be happy, though US is a preferred destination.
In this process, I made so many friends and learned to heed others views and good advice.
Will continue to work for IV.

Does anyone have any insights or theories on why PERM processing is so badly delayed at Atlanta? And why are applications being processed out of order? People who filed in Jan 06 are getting approved while those who with priority dates in 2005 are still waiting. Does anybody have ANY idea? There should be some transparency in the process. It's just a black box right now and that makes the process ten times more frustrating.

concurrent filing means filing of I-140 and I-485 together not two I-140s.
why do you want to put false data on your profile? such as EB1 at Perm stage with 2000 priority date?
Are you trying to mock all the IV members? Or just being silly?

Since spending bills are to be tabled shortly and we had few goals of our own I wanted to know if IV is planning to have a telephone conference call anytime soon to discuss where we are and to have a general status/QA session.
