Can anybody please let me know what are the documents needed to file for 485. If I do not have any immunization record, how can I show that immunization record?
Somebody with experience please post. It has been answered earlier elsewhere, but I could not find it through search.

My wife is currently in the US and since my PD is current we need to file her I-485. We are trying to self file and would like to know what documents do we need to provide to prove that she successfully fullfilled her 2 year home residency requirement (HRR). She left the US in January 15, 2006 and came back on H4 in February 8, 2008.
The fact that she was granted H4 visa implies that she has fullfilled the 2 year HRR but our attorney said that she needs to prove that my wife did indeed fullfill this requirement.
Has anyone been in this position?
Please advise.

The stamps on the passport would show that!
Anyway, you can include your wife's paystub from the employer if she was working, university records if she was studying, etc., when she was outside USA. However, I am not sure if any of these is needed since the passport is sufficient for establishing her period of absence.

Hi guys,
My LCA got denied today (reason unknown) and my H1-B has expired on Nov. 1 as well. :(
I also have a pending I-485 petition with approved I-140. I also have a valid EAD. So I assume, I am currently shifted to AOS pending status working on EAD.
My question is whether this denial negatively affects my pending I-485 application? I assume not but just wanted to confirm anyways :confused:

Yes it seems USCIS is also asking the public to help improve its website. It has posted a link on its homepage "Help improve uscis.gov" which was supposed to take you to another page. Unfortunately that link is broken as of now. If you click on it, it takes you to a blank page.

Yes but I was thinking, spouse and children are counted in family based visas and how exempting them will benefit EB visas. Correct me if I'm wrong. :confused:
At present the dependents are counted in the EB cap...So the number 140K for EB is principal applicant+dependents combined...This bill exclude all dependents of EB from any cap...(But the country limits still apply I guess)...
FB and EB cap got nothing to do with each other..

Employment Letter is a part of the initial evidence. There is a memo recently saying that any missing initial evidence will result in denial of application without RFE. Try to cajole your employer and gather as much evidence as you can about being asked for $$$ for helping you file 485

off the top of y head and based on what I've read, a D70 is well worth it, even from a D100. A D2H is now cheap too. With lots of Nikon glass the options are quite good. Even a Kodak SLR/n is a good buy.....

The papers I�d used to get hired were fake.My family had come from Ecuador when I was seven and my older brother Angelo was nine. We came on a tourist visa, and the moment my parents had gotten it, we knew we were not coming back. They sold all our furniture before we left.
My mother had a sister living legally in the United States, and my parents planned to have her sponsor us for residency. Soon after landing in New York, my parents saw a lawyer. But we were told the process would take four or five years.
Coming to the States was traumatic. In Ecuador, we had lived in a house. Here, we were in a small apartment. We didn�t know any English. But you know, at that age, things change quickly. In six months we were speaking English and running around like normal kids. Most of the time, we blended in. But we knew weren�t supposed to be here, and we lived with a lot of fear.
I started acting when I was 11, almost as a fluke. One day, we went to visit our cousins, and they were on their way to try-outs for a community theater production of �Oliver!� It was through a program put on by the city, to get disadvantaged kids off the street. When we got there, the producers were like, �You should try out, too.� So my brother and I did. Then we all went to lunch. When we got home, we had a phone message that we�d both been cast. If you are planning to send it through an attorney, dont forget to send the new G-28.
Also, once u have sent it, i will suggest taking an infopass appointment after a month or so and making sure that the new lawyer information has been updated.

Dont worry too much. Get your H1 extension with current employer even if it s a consultancy firm when you are on project. It wont be deied.
